Game introduction:

Suitable for 2 to 4 players to play together. The standard set of dominoes contains 28 rectangular cards. Each card has two sides. The front is divided into two, with 0|0, 0|1… Up to 5|6, 6|6, etc.

Choose the location of the game. Domino needs to be played on a flat and spacious surface, it is best to find a large table
The place where the game is played must allow a moderate amount of noise, because the dominoes will make a popping sound when placed.

Shuffle. Buckle the cards face down on the table, and then tie the cards with your hands, being careful not to turn the cards over. After shuffling, push all the cards to one side to free a playing area.

The opening card is drawn. Each player draws 7 cards from the deck and stands on the table facing him, being careful not to let his opponent see your card.

Decide the order of the cards. There are several ways; discuss with your opponent and choose the one that everyone agrees on. The most common methods are as follows:

1. Each player draws another card from the deck. The party with the larger sum of points plays the card first.
2. Each player finds the card with the most points among the 7 cards, and compares it with the opponent. The party with the higher points plays the card first.
3. Each player shows his own equal number cards (the cards with the same numbers on both ends of the card), and the party with the more points will play the cards first.
4. One player flips a coin, and the other guesses the positive and negative. The person who guesses right plays the card first.

Put down the first card. By convention, the first card should be the equal number card (the cards with the same numbers on both ends of the card); if not, just put one. You can arrange the direction of the cards at will.

Take turns placing cards. Draw one of the seven cards and connect it to the narrow end of the first card (any end is fine). Only when the points on the card are the same as the points on either end of the first card, the cards can be released. For example, if the first card is two 4s (4I4), you must also find a card with 4 points. When putting them, connect the ends of the two cards with the same points together, which means “matched”.

Once one end of a card matches one end of another card, the two ends are closed, and no card can be connected to the two ends.

There will never be more than two open ends on the entire table. The open ends are always at the end of a string of dominoes.

If there is no card that can be connected to both ends, you can only give up this round.

If you put the equal number of cards, then usually this card has to be placed vertically below the card you want to receive (this is not necessary). Regardless of the direction, only one end of the waiting card (not the end connected to the previous card) is open.

If there is no room to lay out the cards, you can find another suitable position and connect the cards to the other sides of the previous card, so that the direction of the cards will also change. This is not to win cards, but to save space.

End the round and count the points. The first player to finish all 7 cards wins this round, and the score of the winner is the sum of the remaining cards of the opponent.

If both sides cannot finish the cards in their hands, then you need to calculate the sum of the remaining points. The person with the smaller sum wins the game, and the difference between the points of the two sides is the points won by the winner.

In a tie, the side with the lower sum of points wins.

When one party’s accumulated points reach the target score (usually 100 or 200 points), the game is over.
